				              Kinetic Theory in CFD and Other Applications
    The Boltzmann equation is very important in a number of high-tech fields such as the space exploration, plasma, and
 microscopic flow. However, the numerical cost of solving the Boltzmann equation directly in large systems is still 
unaffordable. The highly efficient numerical solvers are needed to solve this problem. Or, people may build the simplified
 models instead of directly solving the Boltzmann equation. The numerical difficulties in different application areas 
always vary greatly and are always hard to solve. Numerical methods to solve the Boltzmann equation are also widely 
used in these related application areas such as the radiative transfer equations and boundary layer problem.
    Recently, the research on direct Boltzmann solvers and model reduction methods together with their applications are
 very active. The purpose of this meeting is to gather most representative researchers and report their progress. It invites
