During November 26-28, 2015, the 3rd International Workshop on Frontiers in Quantum Optics and Quantum Information (QOQI3) was successfully held at Beijing Computational Science Research Center.
The main objective of this workshop is to provide a comprehensive review of the current status and future research directions in the field of quantum optics and quantum information. This workshop is open to experts in the fields related to quantum optics and quantum information, as well as scientists and graduate students who are interested in this fast growing area of physics. Over 110 participants attended this international meeting, including Prof. J. H. Eberly from the University of Rochester, Prof. Raymond Laflamme from the University of Waterloo, Prof. Jiangfeng Du from the University of Science and Technology of China and Prof. Hong Chen from Tongji University.
During the three-day workshop, 22 invited talks were given and more than 30 posters were exhibited. This workshop successfully provided an academic platform for discussing important issues in quantum optics and quantum information.
